Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using the Apgavo platform (hereinafter "the Platform"), you agree to these terms of service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform. The Platform operates under the laws of the Republic of Lithuania and European Union regulations.

2. Platform Description and Purpose

Apgavo is a platform for scam victims to report scammers, submit evidence, and join forces with other victims of the same scammer. When enough victims report the same scammer and the total damages justify legal action, a partner law firm evaluates the case for a group lawsuit. The Platform is not a law firm and does not provide legal services or legal advice.

3. Account Requirements

To use the Platform, you must: verify your identity through Smart-ID or Mobile-ID (Dokobit); be a legally capable natural person; be at least 18 years old. Each person may have only one account. It is prohibited to create accounts on behalf of other persons or to use another person's account.

4. User Responsibilities

By using the Platform, you agree to: provide only truthful and accurate information about scam incidents; not submit false reports or make false accusations; upload only authentic documents and evidence; not use the Platform for illegal purposes, blackmail, or threats. Submitting false reports may result in legal liability under the laws of the Republic of Lithuania.

5. Content Ownership and Licensing

You retain all rights to your submitted content (reports, documents, evidence). By submitting content on the Platform, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, and process this content for the Platform's purposes: processing reports, grouping them, and presenting them to the partner law firm.

6. Limitation of Liability

The Platform acts as an intermediary connecting scam victims and facilitating group lawsuits. We do not provide legal advice and do not guarantee any legal outcomes. We are not liable for: the law firm's decisions to accept or decline a case; the course or outcome of court proceedings; recovery of losses or compensation; the actions or inactions of third-party services. The Platform is provided "as is" without any warranties.

7. Relationship with Law Firms

Partner law firms are independent legal entities with no ownership or management ties to the Platform. The Platform only facilitates the introduction of victims to the law firm. The legal services contract is made directly between you and the law firm. The law firm independently decides whether to accept a case and on what terms.

8. Account Suspension and Termination

You may delete your account at any time through Settings. Before deletion, you can export your data. We reserve the right to suspend or delete an account without prior notice if: you submit false reports; you violate these terms; you use the Platform for illegal purposes; you pose a risk to the safety or privacy of other users.

9. Changes to Terms

We may change these terms of service at any time. We will notify you of significant changes through the Platform or by email. By continuing to use the Platform after changes, you agree to the updated terms. If you do not agree with the modified terms, please stop using the Platform and delete your account.
